Hello.
I'm Kate Bridle.

How I got here.
A short version of what I've done, in the order it happened.
-
2002–2005 — Loughborough University
BSc (Hons) Human Biology. The foundation for everything that came next.
-
2006–2013 — Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London
Seven years as Senior Medical Technologist at the UK's largest Sleep Disorder Centre. Conducted and analysed complex overnight sleep studies in adults and children, working alongside consultant physicians whose diagnoses depended on the data I produced.
-
2013–2015 — Evelina London Children's Hospital
Chief Medical Technologist and Departmental Manager at the Children's Sleep Disorder Unit. Oversaw the paediatric sleep study service and contributed to published research.
-
2015 — Founded the first specialist Sleep Disorder Centre in the Middle East
Established and managed the first specialist Sleep Disorder Centre in the region. Sleep and Neurophysiology Service Manager and Chief Technologist at London Sleep Centre Dubai — a role I continue to hold.
-
2017 — Founded Sleep HQ, Hong Kong
Independent sleep practice serving Hong Kong and wider Asia, alongside global corporate engagements with financial services and consulting firms.
-
2022 — present — Bahrain
Based in Bahrain. Sleep coaching for adults and corporate teams across the GCC, Hong Kong, the UK and beyond.
What I learned from twenty years of sleep studies.
Early in my career I spent most of my time analysing physiological data — brainwaves, breathing patterns, oxygen saturation — to diagnose sleep disorders. That work taught me the mechanics of sleep deeply. It also taught me something else: most persistent sleep difficulties aren't physiological. They're behavioural. They're stress-driven. They're lifestyle-shaped.
That realisation is what moved me from the sleep lab into behavioural sleep coaching.
Today I work entirely online with adults and corporate teams. I use structured, evidence-based programmes — not medication, not gimmicks, not the same five sleep hygiene tips you've already read. The work happens in five areas: Anchor Wake Time, Movement, Caffeine and Hydration, Environment, and Mindset.
Sleep isn't something you force. It's something you allow — by giving your body the right conditions.
I help people stop trying so hard. Then they sleep.
Inside the boardroom.
Through my consultancy, I deliver sleep performance programmes to global organisations. Past clients include Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Oliver Wyman, Marriott International and Raffles.
The work covers cognitive performance, executive resilience, burnout prevention, and the sustained energy required to operate at senior levels.
I approach sleep not as a wellness luxury, but as a strategic biological advantage.
I also work with hotels and wellness resorts to design bespoke sleep wellness experiences — a small but growing part of the practice.
